Rachel Duncan, MA, ATR-P
I love talking about money and enjoy diving into complex situations. My previous career was in small business accounting and operations. I also have a passion for psychotherapy, coaching, financial education, and exploring the depths of the human experience.
Years back, I noticed a lack of focus on financial stress and emotional spending in mental health work. People make daily financial decisions that are often influenced by emotions, family dynamics, and societal factors. We often can’t get out of own way and sometimes we start to develop a negative self-talk.
My training in counseling and social work taught me to see behavior through a systemic and multicultural lens. Why not look at financial behavior the same way?
